Privacy Policy

To run your account and sync your progress, we store:

• Account info: the email address (or Google account) you sign up with, used for authentication.
• Subscription status: whether you're on the free or Pro plan, and billing identifiers needed to keep that status in sync with our payment processor. We never see or store your card details; those are handled entirely by our payment processor.
• Learning data: your spaced-repetition scheduling state (which cards you've seen, how well you know them, and when they're next due) and a history of your review sessions, used to power the review queue and your progress dashboard.
• Basic usage analytics: anonymous, aggregate page-visit data (via Vercel Analytics) to understand which pages get used, with no per-user tracking profile or cross-site identifier.

We don't collect payment card numbers, and we don't run third-party advertising trackers or sell your data.

Gramaru keeps a local copy of your review data in your browser's on-device storage so the app works quickly and offline. If you're signed in, this local copy syncs with your account so your progress follows you across devices. Signing out clears the local copy from that browser; your account data in the cloud is unaffected.

We use your data to: run the spaced-repetition engine and review queue, show your progress and streak, sync your account across devices, grant and maintain your subscription entitlement, and respond to support requests. We don't use your learning data for anything beyond operating the Service for you.

We use established third-party infrastructure providers to handle authentication, database storage, and payment processing, so your data doesn't sit only on servers we run ourselves. Each provider only receives what it needs to do its job (e.g. the payment processor never sees your learning data; our database provider never sees your card details). We don't sell or share your data with anyone else.

We keep your account and learning data for as long as your account is active. If you want your account and data deleted, email support@tappuri.com and we'll delete it, aside from what we're legally required to keep (for example, billing records for tax purposes).

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. Email support@tappuri.com for any of these requests and we'll handle it directly.

Gramaru isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we'll remove it.

We may update this policy as the Service changes. If we make material changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
